Fr. Scott Vandehey Memorial Statue Fundraiser

Fr. Scott dedicated 52 years of his life to the priesthood serving thousands of his people throughout the Archdiocese of Portland.

Now we have the opportunity to give back and honor Fr. Scott by dedicating this statue of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in his memory.

Fr. Scott was passionate about the Verboort and Roy communities, including Visitation Catholic Church and new school.  He generously dedicated sales from his genealogy books to the school and established and endowment fund to help students with tuition.

The statue cost is $13,000 and will be carved out of granite and placed at the school.  A mason will create a two-foot brick pedestal for the statue to rest upon and at the foot of the pedestal will be plaque that says, "Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary to her cousin Elizabeth, in loving memory of Rev. Scott Vandehey 1939-2018."

Support Fr. Scott's Memory!

We ask that you make checks payable to Visitation Catholic Church and use the memo line "Fr. Scott Memorial Statue" or include a note to insure the funds are allocated to the memorial.  Funds can be mailed to:
