Replacement School Building Capital Campaign

Our school is over capacity for the facilities we currently have. We recognized the need to update our facilities on our campus or face the reality of denying parish children the opportunity to receive a strong Catholic education at Visitation. Also, our current facilities continue to need frequent and expensive repairs.

Our $6.9 million campaign to consolidate our facilities into one roof has been met with great enthusiasm and an extremely positive response.

In sharing this encouraging news, I know that the success of this campaign will depend on the involvement of our entire parish community.

UPDATE!

This is a very exciting time here at Visitation Catholic School!

As of August 14, 2017 we have raised $3.88 million dollars towards our new school. In a 2 phase approach, we are $600,000.00 shy of funding phase 1. Phase 1 includes the classrooms, administrative offices, library, and lunch/multi-purpose room.

Phase 2 will be an additional $2 million dollars and will complete the school by adding the gymnasium, music room and kitchen.

We have received County approval for the project and are currently working on installing a new well and are waiting for DEQ approval for the newly designed septic system.
